Help your students do more than finish a video

If you’re serious about growing your course business, give your students more than videos. Help them put what they learn into practice. Start with the outcome your course promises. Build the actions that lead to it as lesson steps, then use milestones to show students how far they’ve come. When they get stuck, bring them back to your community, consultations or coaching.

Help your students put each lesson into practice

A video explains what to do. A practical step gets your student to do it. Add written answers, quizzes or work to submit, then see their progress and give feedback where it helps.

What will make this week feel like a win?

Name one small outcome you can finish by Friday. Keep it specific enough to celebrate.

Noah PierreAdmin18 min agoThree 30-minute focus blocks before lunch. Starting tiny this time.

Alex Morgan18 min agoOne finished lesson by Friday is my goal. Keeping it concrete.

The two-minute start changed everything

I kept the promise small—and kept it

Three mornings in a row. It is modest, but it finally feels repeatable.

Alex Morgan2h agoThat is the kind of streak worth protecting. Nice work.

Noah PierreAdmin2h agoSmall enough to repeat tomorrow—that is the real win.

How do I stay consistent when progress feels slow?

Maya Chen Question asked 5 Sep 2026 10:07

Hi,

I’ve been keeping the weekly rhythm, but I lose steam by Wednesday. Two things I keep getting stuck on:

  • What should I protect first when the week gets messy?
  • How do I restart without trying to catch up?
Consistency
  • 00:00:00 How do I stay consistent when progress feels slow?
  • --:--:-- How small should my weekly goal be?
  • --:--:-- Should I use the same cue every day?

Help your students move forward between sessions

I’m using SchoolMaker’s community as a selling point for my online courses. And it’s working !
I sent a survey to my students after switching to SchoolMaker. And 88.9% rated it as “very good”.
Your customer support is just incredible -> you should use that in your marketing campaigns !
What we really see is how it helps students move forward much faster, much further... We've had incredible rates of engagement and progress in the program.
I've just recommended SchoolMaker to 2 different clients because I think it really fits the course structure we've created together.
So far, support has been impeccable. Customer needs are taken into account to the point of perfection.Thank you!
I’m seeing a real increase in engagement. I had a live session on Saturday and there were a lot of questions, even though no one usually wants to talk.

The early feedback from my clients is very positive! Thanks again for all you’re doing. I was also able to increase my prices by 20%!
